Re-Launching Ignatz Bier March on 5th
HB BUILD festival
March 3, 4 and 5 2012, 12:00 – 20:00 Hours / Uhr
We invite you to our three-day, multi-disciplinary festival at the HomeBase LAB located in Pankow, Berlin. This event is the result of HomeBase BUILD II, a three-month-long international Artist-in-Residence and research program.
The highlights of this event include:
- 16 open studios with site-specific installations relating to the topic of Home, community projects, performances, music, lectures, readings, KunstKompost, GreenHouse, and the live brewing of Ignatz Bier.
- Celebration of the history of the site through the artistic re-staging of the historical Engelhardt photograph taken exactly 105 years ago on March 5th,1907.
- Symposium relating to new models combining contemporary art and social innovation.
The event is free and open to the public.
